Description

What makes American culture the way it is? Christopher Columbus officially discovered America in 1492. He thought that he came to India, so he called the people there Indians - not a great start! In part one of this course we look at the history of America, from its native peoples, to its multiple discoveries, through to the first century of the Presidency and the decisions, wars, and peaces, that shaped this significant nation.
