      Description

Alfred Hitchcock is the most studied film director of the 20th century. Join Simon, who saw his first Hitchcock film (Rebecca, 1940) when he was 12, and has been a devoted fan ever since. Whether it’s Norman Bates being Psycho, a suspicious neighbour in Rear Window or birds behaving badly in The Birds, Simon will help you appreciate Hitchcock’s genius. Simon is an award-winning writer, both in NZ and the US and an avid film buff. He has twice won the LIANZ non-fiction book of the year award. His latest book, The Little Book of Spiders, was released in the US and UK in early April.
