Wrapping paper, ribbons, paper/plastic bags, colourful flyers, old maps and magazines: we are so used to the use once and throw away culture that we fail to see the value in these everyday items. In this 2-part course you will have fun making a variety of useful and creative items including: decorative containers, book marks, book covers, gift bags, coasters, message boards, smartphone stands/containers, kitchen bin liners and more! Kazuko loves many kinds of craft but became very reluctant to go out and buy new materials for her craft work, instead she finds a way to upcycle. Using Origami technics, easy weaving and hand crochet methods, you will have fun opening up a door to being both creative and sustainable.
