Listen to the whispers of the past as we uncover secrets long buried by time. This term Dr Rie Natalenko will give the following three lectures:
- The Mysteries of Medieval Medicine - Examine the good, the bad and the ugly of ancient cures—and imagine what would happen if we used those cures today!
- Scary Tales or Fairy Tales? Delve deep into the past to the fairy tales that would pass today as horror stories! Learn where fairy tales come from, what they were originally, and how drastically they’ve changed over the years.
- What’s Love Got to do with it? Change your understanding of marriage as you learn how marriage and partnership has changed from prehistory to present day.
