Algae have a generally bad reputation indicated by the terms slimes and toxic blooms. But surely they can't all be bad. Let's look at some of their positive characteristics too. For instance, would we be here without them? But also we should consider that maybe it is us who have often made them into bad guys. What will be the verdict? Paul Broady has a background in biology and a long-term interest in climate change. He has studied some of the remotest regions of our world and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others.
