Do you have a pile of left over fabrics you love but not sure what to do with...or give time to? Fancy learning some basic pattern use? Or would just like some dedicated time to tinker with fabric and create something fun? This session’s aim is to have fun with fabric using those small off cuts from the back of the drawer.... from bunting to cutlery wrap, soft toy to cushion cover the choice is yours. A chance to try your hand following simple patterns, practice machine or hand stitching building confidence and gaining new skills.
Bring your own fabric or choose from a large range I've accumulated. If you have a machine bring it along and enjoy giving it time. Ruth (aka the Sewing Fairy) is an experienced seamstress who makes unique items from new, as well as altering that op shop find. Her motto is 'Don't ditch it, fix it '.
