            Description

This course explores the therapeutic potential of photography as a means to process emotions, enhance mental well-being, and foster self-expression. Participants will engage in practical exercises, reflective practices, and discussions on how photography can be a powerful tool for personal healing and emotional exploration. No prior photography experience is required, though familiarity with a camera (including smartphones) is helpful. As is an ability to upload and email images to instructor. Monica Lopossay is a Pulitzer-nominated, White House Award-winning photojournalist with a distinguished career that includes work for The Baltimore Sun and The New York Times.
