Thinking about learning to knit winter items for loved ones or for yourself? It may still be warm outside but if you start learning now you will have the basics mastered in time for the longer evenings that autumn will bring. Kazuko is a passionate knitter who facilitates our popular Pod-Cast-On group (see above). She would love to show you how to:
- Knit and purl
- Cast on and cast off
- Finish up a project
- And how to read knitting patterns
If you are looking to either build your confidence or have never picked up knitting needles before, this course is for you! There will be a variety of projects to choose from – scarves, fingerless gloves or hats etc. Materials for the first class will be provided, then you might want to purchase some basic supplies – depending on the project you choose, and the requirements for each person will be discussed in class.
