Find joy from making art

Art provides substantial benefits as you age, helping you to retain neural connectivity, cognitive function and memory. Exploring or making art as you age helps reduce symptoms of dementia. In studies, making, viewing or talking about art brings a 10% increase in blood flow to the brain’s pleasure centres, releasing joy. Creative activities also help to reduce stress and depression.
