This series of lectures will look at the development of the “big 4” political parties and their impact on Aotearoa’s political, economic, social and cultural development. Starting with the Liberals in 1890, moving through to Reform, Labour and finally National. We will look at how the principles, policies and programmes influenced this country domestically and internationally.
