Recently retired, retiring soon, or thinking about it? Retirement can be one of the biggest changes we face and is about how we transition from one major set of activities to another. Whether you are in your 50s, 60s, or 70s a well-planned retirement can be a deeply satisfying and exciting time of your life. During the interactive workshops you will gain an understanding of the implications of retirement for your personal, social, and intellectual life, your psychological health, your physical health and wellness, work, recreation and leisure, partner/ single / family expectations and self-identity. You’ll gain a better understanding of the changes that will affect you, rediscover what matters most to you and learn skills to manage the challenges.
Chris Beardsley trained as a teacher and later managed large teams. Twenty-five years ago, she decided to combine her practical experience as a manager with her teaching skills to facilitate learning, training, coaching and conflict resolution services. She has been running pre-retirement planning courses for nearly a decade.
